Law mandates that every organization has to implement a few measures to stay POSH compliant. The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is a mandated body that every employer is obligated to create within the organization. Failure to establish an effective ICC committee can result in penalties for non-compliance with this requirement. Find out if you are POSH compliant-

Outro

(if not posh compliant)- Non-compliance with the provisions of the PoSH Act is highly discouraged due to the penalties stipulated within the Act. If an employer fails to adhere to any of the PoSH Act’s regulations, they could face a fine of up to Rs 50,000 or risk having their registration revoked. It’s important to note that, in addition to the fine, the court may also order the employer to compensate the aggrieved party for damages incurred.
